XP40-Q1942 Explosion-Protected PT Thermal Network Camera helps you monitor employee safety and detect the unauthorized individuals in hazardous areas. With its heavy-duty stainless-steel housing, XF40-Q1942 is certified for explosion-prone applications.





Hazard-certified worldwide XP40-Q1942 is certified worldwide for use in hazardous explosion-prone applications. For example, it’s ATEX, IECEx and UL certified. Its electropolished stainless steel enclosure confines explosions and prevents sparks from igniting vapors, gases, dust, or fibers in the surrounding environment. The UL certified models, XP40-Q1942 -50 C UL and XP40-Q1942 -50 C 110 V UL, offer two 3/4" NPT conduit entries, while XP40-Q1942 and XP40-Q1942 -60 C models offer one M25 conduit entry. XP40-Q1785 is a robust, high-performance positioning camera designed for safe operation in vast, potentially combustible environments. It offers the most comprehensive field-of-view possible, thanks to 32x optical zoom, 360° continuous pan rotation and 180° tilt movement.





Tough enough XP40-Q1785 is certified (NEC, CEC, IECEx, ATEX and EAC Ex) for use in potentially combustible environments. This robust, positioning camera comes enclosed in a stainless-steel housing with IP66 and IP67 ratings and can withstand extreme temperatures ranging from -60 °C to 60 °C (-76 °F to 140 °F). It supports electronic image stabilization (EIS), which greatly improves video quality in situations where the camera is subject to vibration such as gusty winds or passing vehicles. Furthermore, EIS allows you to install your camera out of reach on high walls or columns with minimum impact on image quality.


Wherever it's needed XP40-Q1785 delivers outstanding 24/7 long-range monitoring. This high-performance camera offers 2 MP/HDTV 1080p image quality at up to 60 fps. Featuring 32x optical zoom it provides 360° continuous pan rotation and 180° tilt movement. This means that not only can the camera turn in a complete circle to prevent any blind spots around it, it can also see straight ahead, below, and above its position so you don't miss a thing. It's got Forensic WDR for clarity even when there are both dark and light areas in the scene. And Lightfinder for high-quality color images recorded in near darkness and clear, sharp images of moving objects. Plus, Axis Zipstream significantly lowers bandwidth and storage requirements.




And that's not all… Powered by 24, 110, or 230 V AC, this high-performance PTZ offers long-distance connections using fiber optics or Ethernet cabling. Thanks to direct mains power input it's simple to install and there's no need for an external power supply. Featuring built-in long-life wipers, you're guaranteed great images even in snow and rain making this camera ideal in environments exposed to dirt, grime and adverse weather conditions. It comes with AXIS Guard Suite and Active Gatekeeper pre-installed. XP40-Q1942 Explosion-Protected PT Thermal Network Camera helps you monitor employee safety and detect the unauthorized individuals in hazardous areas. With its heavy-duty stainless-steel housing, XF40-Q1942 is certified for explosion-prone applications.





Hazard-certified worldwide XP40-Q1942 is certified worldwide for use in hazardous explosion-prone applications. For example, it’s ATEX, IECEx and UL certified. Its electropolished stainless steel enclosure confines explosions and prevents sparks from igniting vapors, gases, dust, or fibers in the surrounding environment. The UL certified models, XP40-Q1942 -50 C UL and XP40-Q1942 -50 C 110 V UL, offer two 3/4" NPT conduit entries, while XP40-Q1942 and XP40-Q1942 -60 C models offer one M25 conduit entry. Far + wide + sharp = accurate XP40-Q1942 provides outstanding detection capabilities and fast and easy visual verification of the nature of detected events in order to enhance safety in restricted areas. A combination of 360° pan and 90° tilt capabilities and VGA 640x480 thermal resolution means that a single camera can capture events taking place in a large area and at great distance. In addition, thanks to a combination of dynamic histogram equalization, enhanced local contrast and dynamic sharpening, XP40-Q1942 improves image contrast for sharp video with great detail in all conditions. Typical applications include detection of people in restricted areas and safety of personnel in hazardous areas. Electronic image stabilization keeps the picture smooth even when the camera is exposed to vibrations. And shock-detection functionality is included as well.
