his recorder intelligently copies a connected HDMI , VGA or DVI displays EDID and stores it, to then be repeatedly used with Lindy's range of EDID emulators (32104, 32121 and 32122), overwriting the emulator's pre-set EDID to ensure seamless compatibility within the installation. The EDID recorder's simple switch for copying EDID information allows for hassle free use for both professional and first-time users.

This recorder is also backwards compatible with previous Lindy EDID emulators 32101 and 32102.

Overview This compact DP Expander Splitter with MST function allows the connection of two HDMI or DVI monitors to a DP / MDP signal source. The MST Expander function distributes the DP signals to 2 monitors, either with the same or different image content.

To utilise the Expanded Desktop, the DP signal must be set to twice the width of both monitors. Ideal for notebooks and tablets (eg Microsoft Surface PRO) with DisplayPort or Mini-DP output

If the signal source can supply enough power you will not need an external power supply. A USB-DC power cable is included when additional power is required.

This active MST Hub supports DP++ and does not require the source or graphics card to support DP++ to provide dual-mode signals.

The Lindy Cat.6 HDMI 4K60 & IR Extender with PoC is an effective, reliable solution for extending high quality 4K HDMI signals over distances up to 50m (164.04ft) with standard Cat.5e/6 network cable. Support for the HDMI 2.0 18G specification allows the transmission of highly detailed 4K Ultra HD resolutions. With support for High-Dynamic Range, video content can be seen with enhanced brightness, greater contrasts of blacks and whites and a much wider colour gamut, perfect for a true home cinema experience or eye-catching digital signage in retail settings. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows 4K video content from copy protected sources such as Blu-Ray movies, media players and streaming services to be viewed without compatibility issues. Support for lossless audio formats including DolbyTrueHD and DTS-HD adds powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an enhanced experience and sense of realism for the viewer.

The extender features an HDMI loop-through output on the transmitter which allows for simultaneous viewing using local and remote displays. This versatility provides a suitable solution for use in various scenarios such as educational presentation systems, home cinema, entertainment systems, or trade shows. The built in EDID dip switch enables the user to control which EDID is taken from either display, making installation and configuration simple ensuring maximum compatibility with HDMI displays and projectors. PoC allows both power and data signals over a Cat.6 cable in a point to point configuration, adding flexibility as only one power supply is required for both the transmitter and receiver units. Ideal when power outlets are limited.

Featuring IR Pass-through, the source equipment can be seamlessly controlled from the remote displays side of the installation using compatible infrared remote controls. This provides simple and complete control for the user.

Please note: This product is not designed to be used in conjunction with active network equipment and must only be used in a point to point connection.

EDID - Extended Display Identification Data.
It is a way for a video source to discover the capabilities of the sink (display device) it is connected to. EDID information resides in the sink and is made available through the connection to a source device via HDMI, DP, DVI etc. When a sink is connected to a source it receives power for its EDID circuit from the source.

Overview The Lindy HDMI 2.0 18G Signal Analyser and Generator is a reliable tool for testing all stages of a HDMI signals path. This device provides a simple and reliable installation of HDMI AV equipment, ensuring a high quality HDMI experience for both commercial and residential end users.

The device's pattern generator provides three HDMI video patterns up to 4K@60Hz with additional support for high dynamic range and the ability to adjust colour depths, allowing an installer to test a connected displays maximum resolution and resolve any issues at the display side of the installation.

The tester's 'Sink' mode detects the signal itself from the source device and supplies valuable information including resolutions and frame rates to identify and solve any compatibility issues.

The 'cable' mode allows for testing of the cable's capabilities and condition, a vital feature for identifying true HDMI 2.0 cables with 18G data rates within a crowded market where non-fully compatible cables exist, this information is all presented on an easy to read LCD display.
