This product allows two IEC309 16A (commando) plugs to be connected to a single IEC309 32A (commando) socket.
It is ideally suited for connecting equipment such as PDU’s and UPS into equipment racks that employ 16A power connectors to computer room under floor 32A supplies. The product consists of two IEC309 16A sockets and one IEC309 32A plug connected by 20cm leads to a central junction box.
The junction box houses two 16A thermal circuit breakers which protect the dual 16A feeds from overload, housed under a safety cover. The breakers can be easily reset if tripped. The housing has to be manually opened to manually trip the circuit breakers and they therefore cannot be accidentally tripped (for example by a snagging under floor cable).
