The new IEC-lock power lead design provides a simple way of securing a power lead to any electrical appliance that uses an IEC type mains lead.
As with most good designs the IEC-lock's patented locking mechanism is beautifully simple. The lead is simply connected to the appliance as any other IEC lead.
Once the lead has been fitted the IEC-lock mechanism locks it to the appliance, ensuring that the lead cannot become accidentally disconnected.
Protection of computer equipment and servers fromaccidental disconnection helping to protect valuable data
Ideal for protecting appliances that are vulnerable to vibration where standard connectors may become accidentally disconnected
Suitable for various medical applications that require a secure power source Unique 'Patented' Female C13 connector 'IEC-Lock'
Suitable for use with 'Any' standard IEC inlet
Loose coiled to avoid permanent kinks and ensure tidy installation
IEC-Lock moulded to leads are currently available with cable lengths to bare-ends with variable

As it continues to develop its product range, to bring the most sophisticated models to market, Scolmore introduces the latest addition to its IEC LOCK range – the new IEC Lock+ Rewireable - the world’s first locking rewireable C13 IEC connector.
Designed to guard against accidental disconnection of computers, PDU’s servers and most network devices, the new IEC Lock+ Rewirable adds additional flexibility and ease of use, as well as LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) compatibility, to its list of features.
The beautifully straightforward high-visibility locking mechanism is combined with a simple release mechanism which allows for disconnection from all sides. Ideal as a retrofit solution, it requires no other equipment or special inlets to secure it, it is simply plugged into an appliance as you would a standard IEC lead. The red cage release mechanism also marks the connector out from standard IEC leads to allow maintenance and other data centre staff to identify critical power sources.
Its slim design means it can easily be implemented in areas where access is limited and ease of removal is of paramount importance. Its LSZH attribute is crucial for critical applications in military, broadcast, transportation and data centres.
