Overview The Lindy KVM Over IP Extender system allows users to control a source device such as a PC or PVR through a standard IP network

This receiver unit must be connected to a transmitter unit (No. 38264 – not included) to create a standard point to point control system, with a maximum distance of 150m (492.12ft)

It's also possible to set up a distributed control system (One to Many configuration) which allows a single device connected to a Transmitter Unit (No. 38264 - not included) to be controlled by several consoles each connected to this receiver via a dedicated Ethernet switch or VPN.

This extender system includes a convenient IR (25 to 56kHz) repeating system to allow for the dedicated use of a remote control from the console side

The Lindy Cat.6 DVI-D Single Link, USB, Audio & RS-232 KVM Extender allows users to control a source device such as a PC from a single keyboard, mouse and display up to 140m using a Cat.6 RJ-45 cable. Supports single link resolutions up to 1920x1200 and HDMI signals including Full HD 1080p, 3D and HDCP 1.4. Ideal for KVM applications, the Extender consists of a transmitter and a receiver unit. The transmitter must be connected to a source such as a PC or KVM Switch, while the console with display, keyboard and mouse must be connected to the receiver. It's also possible to connect additional USB 2.0 devices such as storage and hard drives (webcams are not supported).

The extenders built-in EDID function ensures maximum compatibility with the display or projector at the receiver or even at the loop out DVI port on the transmitter, while analogue audio 3.5mm inputs and outputs allow users to connect speakers, microphones and a line-in interface.

RS-232 connections also allow for integration into pre-installed control systems.

Overview The Lindy Quad View KVM Switch Pro simultaneously displays video signals from four digital sources on a single screen as well as giving individual Keyboard & Mouse control over connected computers

In addition a second display can be connected (Full Screen Mode only!), so that you can directly control or work on one of the computers without having to disrupt the monitoring of the other connected computers

An optional Remote IP Module is available which allows you to create a Remote Console, giving you full remote control over the connected computers at distances of up to 100m (200m via Gigabit Ethernet Switch).

The Quad View KVM Switch Pro provides a number of different viewing modes, allowing you to view the connected computers/video sources in a layout which best suits your requirements:

Quadview In Quadview, the screen is split into four equal fields. Each field displays the entire screen content of its source video or computer. Keyboard & Mouse operations are switched by selecting the corresponding computer‘s quad. Quadview is only available via the primary video output.

PiP (Picture in Picture) When the Picture in Picture function is activated, up to three video sources are displayed as thumbnails on top of a full-screen image from the primary source. This allows them to be monitored alongside a main feed. The active channel, position and size of the thumbnails are all customisable. PiP is only available via the primary video output.

PaP (Picture and Picture) When the Picture and Picture function is activated, up to three video sources are displayed as thumbnails down the right side of the display next to primary source. This allows them to be monitored alongside a main feed. The active channel, position and size of the thumbnails are all customisable. PaP is only available via the primary video output.

Full screen mode In Fullscreen mode, one of the four video sources is shown full screen and at maximum resolution. Keyboard & Mouse operation automatically switches to the corresponding computer when channels are switched. Full screen mode is available on primary, secondary and remote video outputs.

In addition to its video capabilities the Quad View Pro features a USB hub and support for analogue audio for each input. These ports can be automatically switched along with video input, or if required switched independently.

The Fibre Optic DisplayPort 1.2 KVM Extender is an effective, reliable solution for extending high quality 4K DisplayPort signals over distances up to 300m with standard LC fibre cable. Support for DisplayPort 1.2 allows for the transmission of highly detailed 3840x2160@60Hz resolutions, perfect for eye catching digital signage or detailed content in medical setups.

This extender also supports lossless audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD to add powerful multi-channel sound to video content, providing an enhanced experience and sense of immersion for the viewer. USB KM connectivity via 3 USB HID ports allow for a keyboard and mouse at the receiver to control a DP equipped PC from a remote PC setup, which can be stored in a secure or controlled temperature environment, while seamlessly providing consistent video content from the display. The use of LC fibre between the transmitter and receiver provides a reliable, lower cost connection for much longer distances that what is possible over copper cabling, great for use in electronically “noisy” environments such as factory shop floors or medical installations.

With the ability to extend signals up to 300m using the two included units, the transmitter can be easily connected to a variety of DisplayPort source devices such as PCs and laptops in a more convenient location, while the receiver can be placed in a suitable viewing area with a LFD (large format display), monitor or projector, ensuring there is no distraction from the display from bulky source devices. This versatility provides a suitable system for use in various scenarios such as educational presentations, CAD facilities or remote server administration.

The extenders built-in EDID function ensures maximum compatibility with the display or projector at the receiver, further enhancing this system focus on providing high quality 4K DP content over distances easily and with minimum hassle for the user.

Please note: Lindy's 10GBase-LR/LW SFP+ LC Single Mode (25038) Fibre Modules can be used as an alternative to the Included Mini GBIC multi-mode LC modules, increasing the maximum range of the extender to 500m (1640.4ft). MST hubs are not supported.
