Superior performance AXIS T8355 Digital Microphone is the first digital microphone with a S/PDIF output to carry digital audio signals between the microphone and network product. This hemispherical digital microphone collects sound from every direction (depending on your installation) to deliver high-quality recordings. Furthermore, AXIS T8355 allows for lossless audio transfer so every detail from the original audio recording is preserved.




Rest assured your microphone is working AXIS T8355 offers a combination of supervised input and digital audio. This means you can always be sure that your microphone is up and running and hasn’t been tampered with. Because the audio stream features built-in metadata, it’s possible to trigger events based on the communication between the sensor and any network product. Triggers can occur if, for instance, someone cuts the cables or short-circuits the microphone.

It’s also especially useful in locations where you need distance between an audio source and a network product. For instance, in casinos and airport security control where the network product is often installed in a control room, away from the audio source. Furthermore, AXIS T8355 is powered by the network product, so no additional cables or power supplies are needed, helping minimize effort and installation costs.

The microphone can be connected to a network device with support for audio-in 3.5mm jack, such as a camera, an audio module, or an audio bridge. AXIS TU1001-VE can be wall or ceiling mounted and it’s possible to attach conduits using an AXIS ACI Conduit Adapter.

Announcements made easy 2N SIP Mic is a complete, two-way microphone console in a single unit. It includes a top-quality gooseneck mic, 12 configurable buttons and a built-in audio management server. There’s no need for a separate server, timing device or anything else because everything you need is right in the console. Easily integrated with your Axis network speaker system, 2N SIP Mic can be connected to a standard network using PoE.




Announcements made smart – in multiple zones 2N SIP Mic is ideal for live or prerecorded announcements and paging. It features 12 buttons that can be effortlessly configured to the actions of your choice via a user-friendly web interface. Each button can be associated with a single zone or a combination of zones – and changed as often as you like.

So in addition to being easy to integrate with your Axis network systems, you can also connect 2N SIP Mic to other IT systems. And it’s scalable.
