Tripp Lite Switched PDUs with auto-transfer switching for power redundancy and hot-swap capabilities. Demand for more computing power in less space means rack cabinets are more densely packed than ever. A network PDU unit distributes power supplied to the rack via multiple outlets to the rack cabinet's servers and networking equipment.
Tripp Lite PDUMH15HVNET 2.3-2.9kW Single-Phase Switched PDU
Tripp Lite Logo
1U Rack-Mount

Tripp Lite Switched PDU / Power Distribution Unit offers advanced network control and monitoring with the ability to turn on, turn off, recycle or lock-out power to each individual receptacle, monitor site electrical conditions and remotely monitor output power consumption. PowerAlert interface supports remote control and custom notification of user-specified conditions via email, secure web, SNMP, Telnet or SSH interface.

Individually switched outlets can be controlled in real-time to remotely reboot unresponsive network hardware, or be custom programmed for user-defined power-up and power-down sequences to ensure proper startup of interdependent IT systems and prevent inrush-related overloads as network equipment is first energized.

Unused PDU outlets can be electronically locked off to prevent the connection of unauthorized hardware. PDU output current consumption in amps is displayed locally via visual meter and remotely via web/network interface to warn of potential overloads before critical IT mains or branch breakers trip.

Switched PDU
Tripp Lite Logo
12ft Cord, 1U Rack-Mount

Tripp Lite Switched ATS / Auto Transfer Switch provides a redundant power option for single-corded network devices. Dual input cords support separate connection to PRIMARY and SECONDARY power sources. The ATS will normally maintain continuous output to all outlets as derived from the primary input cable. If the primary power source becomes unstable or fails altogether, the ATS will switch over to the secondary power source until the primary input is restored and stable. Switched PDU features include individually controllable output receptacles and built-in network interface.

Super-fast switchover between primary and secondary power sources occurs within milliseconds. ATS functionality is supported by any two compatible AC power sources, regardless of phase angle, to support a variety of advanced redundant power networking applications. Enables fault tolerant hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and fully redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system. In a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by a full time sine wave UPS with zero transfer time. Tripp Lite SmartOnline series is highly recommended for use as the primary UPS in a two-UPS application.

ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and even separate utility power grid feeds are fully supported. On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both input sources to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source. Front input LED's display primary or secondary power availability.

Key Features 200-240V 16/20A Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) / Switched PDU (Agency de-rated to 16A continuous)
Enables redundant A/B power option for single-corded network devices
2 digit display reports power consumption in amps
1U horizontal rackmount form factor
10 outlets (8 C13 switched / 2 C19 unswitched)
Two C20 inlets for separate Primary and Secondary inputs; two 12 ft / 3.7m C20 input cables included
ATS circuits normally maintain output sourced from the primary input cable; As primary input power fails, the ATS will switch to maintain output sourced from the secondary input cable until power on the primary input is restored and stable
ATS configurations enable hot-swappable UPS protection when used with a single UPS and redundant UPS protection when each cord is connected to a separate UPS system (in a two-UPS environment, the primary input cable must be supported by an online UPS with zero transfer time)
Advanced ATS configurations utilizing separate mains circuits, backup generators and separate out of phase utility power grid feeds are supported
On-board ATS processor constantly evaluates power quality on both inputs to prevent transfer to the secondary source when unavailable or of lower quality than the primary source
2-7 millisecond transfer time
Switched outlets and ethernet interface supports individual outlet control on a real-time or programmable basis and user-specified alarm notification thresholds for all reported site power conditions
DHCP/Manual configuration support
Supports HTTP, HTTPS, PowerAlert Network Management System, SMTP, SNMPv1, SNMPv2, SNMPv3, Telnet, SSH, FTP, DHCP, BOOTP, NTP protocols
Outlets are factory programmed for sequential turn-on at 250 millisecond intervals when the PDU is first energized
LEDs confirm power availability on both input lines and for each output receptacle
Federal Trade Agreements Act / TAA Compliant for GSA Schedule purchases

The PDUMH32HVATNET 7.4kW Single-Phase 230V ATS/Switched PDU provides remote power monitoring and enables redundant power for network devices with non-redundant power supply configurations. Ideal for data centers and server rooms, it mounts in 2U of space in EIA-standard racks and features 18 switched outlets (16 C13 and two C19) in two load banks, each bank protected by a 20A circuit breaker.

Dual 3-meter input cords with IEC309 32A Blue (2P+E) plugs connect to separate primary and secondary single-phase 230V power sources. The PDU constantly evaluates the power quality of both input sources. Dynamic solid-state (TRIAC) automatic transfer switching allows the PDU to switch to the secondary source within 1–5 milliseconds should the primary source fail or become unstable to ensure your connected equipment operates without interruption.

Built-in Ethernet network interface allows remote access to the PDU for power monitoring, configuration, control and notifications via web browser, SSH, telnet or SNMP. Provides real-time load/current data with billing-grade accuracy (+/- 1 percent). Supports user-programmable startup of outlets in any order or interval to ensure network items are turned on in the proper sequence and reliably discovered.

Digital LED display indicates power availability, voltage, source A/B input status, output load and power factor, as well as temperature and humidity with the optional temperature sensor (sold separately).
