An EDID emulator avoids compatibility issues between a source and display by providing "fake" or "ghost" EDID information. EDID is a data format that contains information regarding display characteristics, including screen size, resolution capabilities, frequency limits and more. Without this information a source signal cannot be displayed correctly.

The Lindy DVI EDID Emulator is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV/KVM extenders, switches and splitters. It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the graphics card of a PC or server awake for remote access via IP. With support for resolutions up to 2560x1600@60Hz, the emulator is suitable for use with legacy PCs and displays. When used with the Lindy EDID recorder (32120) this device can provide cloned EDID information to the graphics card.

Overview The LINDY 3G SDI to DVI-D Converter/Extender allows you to view SDI video on low cost DVI displays.

Supporting resolutions up to 1080p and with built-in 3.5mm stereo audio output the converter allows you to enjoy synchronised analogue audio along with HD digital video.

This is an ideal product for professional level camera feed distribution, as well as extending or displaying HD-SDI feeds on DVI monitors.

Use in conjunction with our DVI-D to SDI converter to create a DVI-D Extender capable of distances up to 100m using low cost coaxial cable.

Overview Easy to set up and install the compact Lindy LC Fibre Optic DVI-D Extender is the most cost effective, high quality solution on the market for sending DVI-D signals over incredible distances. Send DVI-D signals without compression or any degradation over standard LC duplex multimode (50/125µm) fibre cable up to 500m (not included).

The extender system comprises two modules, a transmitter and a receiver, which are connected directly to both the DVI-D source and display. The modules are then connected together using two, standard 'off the shelf' LC Duplex Fibre cable fibre optic cables (not included).

Overview The Lindy 4 Port DVI-D Splitter is a versatile solution for connecting a DVI-D source device and splitting the signal to four DVI-D Dual Link displays or projectors simultaneously

With support for high quality DVI-D Dual Link resolutions up to 2560x1600@60Hz, this splitter is perfect for creating eye catching multi display digital signage in retail scenarios or engaging multiscreen educational presentations at tradeshows, company training or in the classroom.

The additional ability to cascade this splitter up to three further levels allows for an extended DVI splitting experience, ideal for multi-screen situations such as informational broadcasting in airports, train stations or stock exchange offices.

As standard the extender modules are directly attached to the DVI source and display equipment however if this is not possible due to space limitations or port orientations then the modules may be connected using DVI-D extension cables.
