The Lindy DVI CAT6 Extender allows high-resolution digital video to be sent between devices at distances of up to 30m using low cost CAT6/6a network cable. The extender uses two modules - one transmitter and one receiver. The transmitter connects directly to a DVI-D source. The receiver connects to a DVI-D display in the same way. Between the two modules, a low cost CAT6/6a cable is used to transmit the video signals.
The Extender supports resolutions up to 1680x1050 or 1280x1024 for distances up to 15m using high quality Cat.6 UTP or PiMF (S/FTP) cable. Resolutions of 1920x1200 or 1920x1080, 1080p are supported up to 20m using Lindy CAT6/6a Cable. Resolutions up to 1024x768 are supported up to 30m using highest quality Cat.6a PiMF (S/FTP) patch cables or special made solid core installation cable.
