Excel Mixed Use Panels & Modules

The Excel Mixed Use Panel accepts either and/or both copper and fibre modules
The ability to have fibre and copper presented in one panel offers flexibility in the installation, reduces required rack space and provides future proofing in system design.

Useful in the extremes of installations from data centres where the mixed use panel may aid separation of the routes of cabling, to a remote wall box that has a small number of fibre and copper links, the Mixed Use panel will suit any environment.

The construction of the panel has a chrome colour finish and may be used for either screened or unscreened copper cabling and LC fibre connectivity.

A 4 or 8 module Mixed Use panel is available, both using 1U of rack space.

The Excel 6 Port Category 6 Modules offer a flexible and quick way to terminate and install structured cabling.
Manufactured from high impact flame retardant plastic the modules use IDC punch downs for the termination of the copper cables.

The incoming cables are secured in place with cable ties resulting in a fully covered termination.

After termination the module is simply fitted to one of the compatible Excel Mixed Use Patch Panels permitting different categories of Fibre and Copper to be presented on the same panel.

The modules are easily fitted and removed from the rear of the patch panel by activating release latches.

The Excel Unscreened Category 6 Module has been independently verified by Delta confirming component level performance of the product.

Excel 6 Port Duplex (12 Fibre) LC Modules are available with Multimode and Singlemode adapters. Manufactured from high impact flame retardant plastic the modues are fitted with LC duplex adapters and an internal management wheel to store the slack fibre.

The incoming cable is introduced to the module through a split rubber grommet and secured with a cable tie on the inside.

After termination the module is simply fitted to one of the compatible Excel Mixed Use Patch Panels permitting different categories of Fibre and Copper to be presented on the same panel without interference.

The modules are easily fitted and removed from the rear of the patch panel by activating release latches.
