24 Port Cat5e Patch Panels

Molex PowerCat 5e Patch Panels are designed to provide a simple, orderly and efficient means for connecting horizontal cabling.

The product includes the PowerCat 5e DataGate Jack, which features a spring-loaded shutter that not only protects it from dust and contaminants, but also ejects improperly seated patch cords.

Port identification is provided on the front and back of the panel and individual ports can be color-coded with icon labels, supplied separately. Manufactured from cold-rolled steel for strength and durability and finished in either graphite gray or black.

The Cat5e UTP 1u 24 port patch panel uses a dual termination punch down block suitable for LSA or 110 tooling. 568B punch down blocks on rear of panel at 180 degrees to the front. Cable management rings at the rear of the patch panel allows routing of the cables to aid airflow.

Each port has a provision for individual labelling.

Coloured markings on punch down blocks and rear labels for correct cable termination.

The design of this innovative right angled patch panel makes installation simple with the IDC termination blocks at 90 degrees to the panel. With built in cable management to the rear installtions can be kept clean and tidy.

Each panel offers a choice of labelling with the option to use the screen printed fields on the panel facia or the slide label system or pre printed 1-96 labelling scheme which is enclosed with each panel. Ease of installation is assured with ample rear cable management positions and LSA IDC blocks. Each panel is available in a choice of colours to allow identification of either applications, departments or services. Cage nuts and mini cable ties are included with each panel.

Swept frequency tests are applied to each critical performance characteristic, such as near end cross talk (NEXT) and far end cross talk (FEXT). Both Worst Case and Power Sum Test methods are applied. Actual performance exceeds the required standard by a considerable margin ensuring sufficient headroom for even the most demanding applications. Accessories

This Through Coupler Panel provides 24 RJ45 Cat5e Ports. RJ45 sockets on the rear allow for termination without the need for any tooling.

These panels are tested to confirm to all the current ANSI/TIA/EIA 568 B.2 standards.

24 Port 1U Excel Category 5e Through Coupler Patch Panels offers RJ45 to RJ45 jack connectivity between the front and rear of the patch panel. The patch panel is ideal for providing a cross connect for network equipment with the simple fitting of patch cords rather than switch link looms. Each panel has the port number screen printed below the port with an area to add the port identification above. The design lends itself for the easy application of a bespoke engraved label above and below the ports to suit the installation requirement.
