The Lindy VGA EDID Emulator is designed for systems that require EDID signals to be continuously provided without interruption and helps overcome EDID related problems which can occur when using AV/KVM extenders, switches and splitters. It can also be used in place of a monitor to keep the graphics card of a PC or server awake for remote access via IP. With support for resolutions up to 1920x1200@60Hz, the emulator is suitable for use with legacy PCs and displays. When used with the Lindy EDID recorder (32120) this device can provide cloned EDID information to the graphics card.

It is also possible to use the Emulator without cloning a display as it comes complete with pre-set EDID data for the most commonly used resolution/timing combinations, please see the Technical Information section for a full breakdown.

EDID - Extended Display Identification Data.
It is a way for a video source to discover the capabilities of the sink (display device) it is connected to. EDID information resides in the sink and is made available through the connection to a source device via HDMI, DP, DVI etc. When a sink is connected to a source it receives power for its EDID circuit from the source.

This compact HDMI / VGA and Audio Switch allows you to connect a HDMI and VGA source to a single VGA display and speakers and then switch between them using the supplied cable remote control. It will automatically detect a new signal and switch to that port, similarly, if a signal source is unplugged or turned off, the switch automatically connects to the remaining active port.

The Lindy Wireless Projector Server is an innovative product which allows up to 32 users to connect their computer, laptop or Android smartphone to your projector or monitor via a Wireless LAN WLAN 802.11b/g/n (up to 150Mbit/s) or Ethernet network connection at any one time.

Perfect for offices, conference halls and classrooms the Wireless Projector Server is ideal for meetings and presentations as it means there's no need to swap VGA cables between presenters computers. Instead, you simply connect to the Projector Server in the same way you would a wireless access point.
