The range of machine polishing discs are precision engineered to give you a new consistency and control for polishing ceramic fibre optic connectors. Lasting up to three times longer than standard polishing discs you can obtain higher yields resulting in reduced polishing costs through reduced re-work and polishing time.
Measuring 127mm (5") in diameter, the discs are available in 5μm silicon carbide, 6μm,3μm, 1μm 0.5μm diamond and a final finishing film, all of which are backed with 3 mil polyester to provide a uniformed, consistent finish. The discs are suited to any polishing machine with a maximum diameter polishing plate of 5" including the Optronics PC20.
