Eaton Transceivers

The Eaton N286-01GSX-MDLC SFP (mini-GBIC) transceiver module is designed for use with Cisco networking equipment, and is functionally equivalent to Cisco part number GLC-SX-MMD=. This transceiver is manufactured to meet or exceed the specifications of the original Cisco unit, and to comply with Multi Source Agreement (MSA) standards.

A hot-pluggable input and output allows you to install it without interrupting your network.

All you have to do is just plug the SFP end of the transceiver into the SFP port on your network switch.

The N286-10G-TC SFP+ transceiver from Eaton allows you to connect a copper Cat6a cable to a 1/2.5/5/10 Gbps fiber network router, server or switch. It can transmit data up to 98 feet (30 meters) and supports bi-directional Gigabit Ethernet communication of up to 10 Gbps

Functionally Equivalent to Cisco SFP-10G-T-X Transceiver Module

The MSA-compliant N286-10G-TC functions just like the equivalent Cisco SFP-10G-T-X transceiver module and is manufactured to meet or exceed Cisco specifications. You can use this transceiver with any compatible Cisco router, server or switch and receive the same performance as the SFP-10G-T-X.

Hot-Swappable for Installation Without Network Interruption

This input/output device is fully hot-swappable, so you can install it without a potentially costly 1G/2.5G/5G/10G network shutdown or device reboot. Just plug the SFP end of the transceiver into your Cisco network device. The other end has an RJ45 connector to link with high-speed Cat6a patch cable (sold separately). A convenient bail clasp latch helps you carefully remove the module from the device.

This QSFP+ transceiver from Eaton (N286-40G-PLR4) allows you to connect a singlemode fiber optic cable to a 40 Gbps network router, server or switch. It transmits data up to 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) and it can do this by using a 1260 to 1360 nm wavelength. The zinc housing will protect against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and excessive power dissipation.

Functionally Equivalent to Cisco QSFP-4X10G-LR-S Transceiver Module

The MSA-compliant N286-40G-PLR4 functions just like the equivalent Cisco QSFP-4X10G-LR-S transceiver module and is manufactured to meet or exceed Cisco specifications. You can use this transceiver with any compatible Cisco router, server or switch and receive the same performance as the QSFP-4X10G-LR-S.
