The tester is a small hand-held cable tester which enables you to quickly and easily verify the integrity of Ethernet twisted pair cables. In one second the tester is able to test for open pairs, shorted pairs, reversed pairs, crossed pairs and split pairs. The specially designed remote terminator is provided for one-person testing of installed cables.
It is able to test the entire network system or individual patch cables.
Can test either twisted pair cable or telephone cable.

Power-over-Ethernet Checker
Usefull to determine if a network cable or port is providing Power –over-Ethernet ( PoE)
The LED wil light up if active PoE is detected on the Endspan (pins 12/36) or Midspan (pins 45/78) . The POE Tester is applied to Equipment utilizing the following standards - IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at POE Plus. - compliant with Voltage within 37-57V
Light sequence as below
- End-Span indicator “light” on - POE Voltage is detected on pins 1,2,3,6
- Midspan indicator “light” on - POE Voltage is detected on pins 4,5,7,8
- No lights on - POE is not detected on the pin outs provided above
