The GT036 Air-Block cable grommet is a smart rectangular 2 part gasket sealed grommet. The rectangular grommet offers an exciting alternative cabling option to designers and engineers. Like its circular sister products, the GT060 and GT020, the GT036 unit is designed to “snap” around cables to provide a safe cushioned air block grommet. The GT036 Air-Block cable mouth measures a generous 150mm x 60mm (6” x 2.5”) and is fitted with a die cut flame retardant anti-static gasket. The unit is easy to open, and just as easy to close. The GT036 fits into a 200mm x 110mm (7. 9” x 4.4”) floor panel opening. Four built in quick action fixings lock the grommet into the panel without the need for additional drilling and screw fixing. The grommet’s unique design allows the unit to be positioned almost anywhere within, or between floor panels. As the grommet does not require an outer housing, cables are not trapped within the frame of a housing and can be quickly released from the 2 part lid. The GT036 is equally suited to both computer hall and general office installations. Made from flame retardant materials the GT036 Air-Block grommet is designed as a heavy duty unit. The units retained centre cover forms a solid safety lid when the grommet is not cabled.

AirBlock DCGT044

The DCGT044 Air-Block cable housing is a smart square style 2 part gasket sealed grommet. The DCGT044 “clicks’’ together encasing cables in its 50mm x 50mm (2’’ x 2’’) flame retardant die cut foam cushion.
The grommet fits a 100mm x 100mm (3 7/8’’ x 3 7/8’’) floor panel opening. 2 no. quick action locking clamps hold the unit firmly in place. (without the need for additional drilling and screw fixing)
The Air-Block’s unique design allows the grommet to be positioned almost anywhere within the floor panel, even along the edge, or between two adjoining panels. As the grommet does not require an outer support ring, cables are not trapped within a frame, and so can be quickly released with the push of a button.

The DCGT044 is equally at home in the general office or data centre environment. Made from high strength flame retardant materials the Air-Block grommet is equipped with a solid safety lid for use when the grommet is not cabled. Sealing around cable openings in a plenum raised computer floor is proven to save money. Air-Block and Air-Guard cable grommets form a range of grommets which meet the demands of the most discerning specifier.
