Dedicated Keyboard Platform
The tray provides a dedicated position for a physical keyboard alongside a mounted Surface tablet or enclosure. This allows users to interact with tablet-based applications using a conventional keyboard rather than relying solely on the device's touchscreen.
VESA Mounting
A 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting pattern allows the tray to connect with compatible mounting hardware. This gives installers flexibility when incorporating the keyboard platform into existing tablet stands, kiosk structures or other VESA-compatible mounting arrangements.
Surface Workstation Compatibility
The tray is intended for Microsoft Surface enclosure and tablet configurations, making it useful where a Surface device needs to be paired with a keyboard. Its compact mounting format allows the keyboard to remain close to the mounted screen for convenient interaction.
Kiosk Applications
The keyboard tray can be incorporated into interactive kiosk installations where users need to enter text, search information or complete forms. It is suitable for reception areas, self-service points, healthcare stations, education facilities and other public or shared environments.
Compact Construction
With an approximate weight of 1 lb, the tray is straightforward to handle during installation while adding a dedicated keyboard position to the mounting arrangement. The black finish pairs naturally with compatible Surface enclosures and other Compulocks mounting hardware.
