Overview
The KVM over IP Console Station KA8270 is a standalone console that replaces PC or NB, enabling users to remotely access, monitor and control all servers connected to multiple ATEN's KVM over IP switches* with impenetrable security against virus threats
It also supports various data encryption methods, ensuring impervious data protection
The KVM over IP Console Station can be deployed anywhere instant access is needed and stringent security required, ideal for applications such as studios, offices, data centers, broadcast stations, control rooms, or network operations centers (NOC).
The KA8270 supports USB mouse/keyboard and two USB ports for Virtual Media function, and supports 1 VGA video output at resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz.
In addition, the KVM over IP Console Station provides Panel Array Mode™ function, enabling administrators to monitor the video output of up to 64 servers simultaneously
The feature makes it possible for previewing the content of all the ports at the same time, which is especially suitable for environments such as manufacturing and surveillance that often require monitoring of a much higher number of ports.
The KVM over IP Console Station can be set on a desk, mounted on a wall or at the rear of a rack with its spacesaving 0U rack mount design
It is flexible and easy to install, and provides a GUI with multi-language interface for device management, user profile customization, as well as hassle-free configuration for large deployments.
Product Features
A standalone Java-free console that replaces PC or NB, enabling users to remotely access and control ATEN's KVM over IP switches
Advanced FPGA graphics processor - with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200
Panel Array Mode™ - allows administrators to monitor the video output of up to 64 servers on one screen simultaneously
Supports Boundless Switching - allows users to control up to 3 screens between two console stations by using one set of keyboard & mouse
The CS1708A KVM allows access to 8 directly connected computers, and through Daisy chain architecture as many as 256 total servers may be controlled from a single keyboard, mouse and monitor. To simplify installation and to keep track of so many servers a custom ASIC (patent pending) provides an auto-sensing function that recognizes the position of each KVM station in the chain. A front panel USB port provides server access to USB devices such as Hard Drives, or CDROM s, eliminating the need to physically connect a storage device to a server to install patches or updates.
Features:
A single console controls up to 8 computers
Daisy-chain up to 31 additional units - control up to 256 computers from a single console
Front accessible USB port allows each computer to access USB peripherals
Dual Interface - supports computers and console with PS/2 or USB keyboards and mice
Auto PS/2 and USB interface detection
USB / PS/2 keyboard and mouse emulation - computers boot even when the console focus is elsewhere
Video resolution up to 2048 x 1536; DDC2B
Two level password security; only authorized users view and control computers (up to four users)
Auto Scan feature for monitoring user-selected computers
Broadcast mode; operations simultaneously performed on all selected computers
Hot pluggable - add or remove computers without having to power down the switch
Buzzer on/off via hotkey and OSD
Firmware upgrades to all the chained KVM switches at the same time via the daisy-chain cable
Rack mountable in 19" system rack (1U)
The CS1716A KVM switch is a control unit that allows access to multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB console (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). A single CS1716A can control up to 16 computers. As many as 31 additional switches can be daisy-chained to each other, so that up to 512 computers can all be controlled from a single keyboard-monitor-mouse console. Additionally, a front panel USB port is available for each computer to access any peripherals connected to it on a one-at-a-time basis.
Features
Superior video quality - up to 2048 x 1536; DDC2B
One USB-PS/2 console controls up to 16 computers; Daisy-chain up to 31 additional units - control up to 512 computers from a single console
Broadcast Mode - operation simultaneously performed on all selected computers... etc
Video DynaSync™ - stores the console monitor EDID to optimize display resolution
The CS1716i KVM switches is an IP-based KVM control unit that allows both local and remote operators to monitor and access multiple computers. Remote users access the switches over the Internet by means of a web browser using TCP/IP for its remote communications protocol. The CS1716i supports up to 32 concurrent user logins for single-bus computer access. A built-in feature that resembles an Internet chat program - the Message Board - lets them communicate with each other. The ability to exchange information in real time allows them to cooperatively manage the installation in a smooth and efficient manner.
Among the CS1716i other outstanding features, a Panel Array Mode provides the ability to monitor up to 16 servers per switch; while the Mouse DynaSync™ feature automatically synchronizes the local and remote mouse pointer movements for perfect alignment regardless of what the mouse acceleration settings on the server are.
The CS1716i supports the highest security protocols, such as TLS 1.2 encryption for the browser, and RC4 encryption for secure keyboard, mouse, and video data transmission. For easier and more efficient user management integration, the CS1716i also supports authentication and authorization via remote servers, such as RADIUS, LDAP, LDAPS, and MS Active Directory.
These powerful features not only help administrators manage their server room in an efficient and flexible manner, they provide a cost effective management solution for the SMB sector.
Note: ** The video quality of CS1716i has been enhanced to Full HD.
KVM Switch Features
Superior video quality - up to 2048 x 1536; DDC2B for the local console; up to 1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz** and 1600 x 1200 @ 60Hz / 24 bit color depth for remote sessions
Supports TLS 1.2 data encryption and RSA 2048 bit certificates for secure user logins from a browser
Panel array mode enables user to monitor multiple servers from single screen at the same time - each selected server's video output appears in a separate panel - users can easily select the number of panels to view
