Sanitising

The sanitising space was designed to fit even the largest phones. Measure your phone (with or without a case) to ensure it will fit inside. While PhoneSoap 3.0 was designed specifically for cell phones, whatever fits inside will be safely sanitised. If it fits, it sanitises! Sanitising takes about 10 minutes and a blue indicator turns on while your phone is being cleaned, and shuts off when the process is done.

Universal Charger

PhoneSoap 3.0 has a standard 5V USB port accessible on the back of the device next to the unit’s power port. You will use the cable provided with your phone to charge. Plug this cord into the back of the device and pass it through the port on the bottom of the device into the sanitising space. Once inside, plug it into your device to engage charging. The PhoneSoap 3.0 unit must be plugged into the wall for the sanitising and charging to work. Any device that charges through USB can be safely charged and sanitised inside.

Top Button: Manual & Automatic Mode

The button on the top of HomeSoap allows you to turn off your lights with the touch of your finger. It also allows you to switch your device between Auto & Manual modes.

Auto Mode: The sanitizing begins every time you close the door automatically. You can still touch the button to turn off the lights.

Manual Mode: The sanitizing only begins when the door is closed and you touch the button. The lights will still automatically turn off after 10 minutes or if you touch the button.

Change Modes: Touch and hold the button for 3 seconds. The lighting bolt will flash, indicating the switch between modes.

Sanitising

Sanitising takes 10 minutes. The glowing bolt turns on while your device is being sanitized and shuts off when the process is complete. HomeSoap was designed for any item that fits inside. The UV light is most effective on hard, non-porous surfaces. The UV light is less effective against fabrics and other porous materials because of the many shadows they create that may block the UV light from hitting the surface. The UV light can only kill germs on surfaces with which it comes in contact. While HomeSoap physically fits many objects, its effectiveness on your item may be reduced on the surfaces that come in contact with the HomeSoap's inner plastic chamber. To guarantee maximum effectiveness on every surface of your device, set your item centered on the bottom quartz plate. If it rests on the side of HomeSoap, make sure it rests on the vertical quartz tubes, not the plastic side, for 360 degree sanitizing. Universal Charger

HomeSoap has one 2.4A USB and one 2.4A USB C port accessible on the front, inside of the device next to the door. You will use the cable provided with your device to charge. In fact, you can charge two devices at once. The HomeSoap unit must be plugged into the wall for the sanitising and charging to work. Any device that charges through USB can be safely charged and sanitised inside.
