The DuraVision DX0211-IP can connect to an IP camera or switch and supply video data to a connected monitor. It does not require a PC, software or any other hardware to operate, which greatly simplifies installation and saves time and labour costs. Its HDMI output supports 4K UHD resolution, while its decoding performance allows up to 16 Full HD video feeds.

Integrated solution

The DuraVision DX0211-IP can connect to an IP camera or switch and supply video data directly to a connected monitor. It does not require a PC, software or any other hardware to operate, which greatly simplifies installation and saves time and labour costs. This also eliminates several of the potential points of failure typically associated with a conventional setup by significantly reducing the amount of equipment needed to manage sensitive visual data.

Box solution features innovative decoding technology

The DuraVision DX0211-IP features the innovative decoding technology used in EIZO’s unique IP decoding monitors in an external box format. It decodes and compresses multiple feeds from IP cameras in order to display video data in real-time. It can be used in conjunction with different monitor sizes and resolutions, making it ideal for video walls and multi-monitor environments.

Video decoding

The DuraVision DX0211-IP can decode H.265 (HEVC), as well as H.264 and MJPEG codecs, displaying them in real-time in order to assess any situation quickly. The decoding technology also ensures a high fps (frames per second) for displayed content, even when streaming high-resolution video data. For example, 16 Full HD (1920 x 1080) video feeds displayed simultaneously on a single monitor consistently achieve 20 fps.

Live streaming directly from IP cameras

Connecting IP cameras directly to the DuraVision DX0211-IP facilitates the live streaming of video data without a decentralised recording solution, such as edge recording or cloud archiving. This offers the ideal solution for scenarios that require live streaming, but for which the storage of recorded images is not permitted.

Register up to 48 IP cameras

Up to 48 different IP cameras, including 4K cameras, can be registered with the DuraVision DX0211-IP box via the intuitive Camera Registration List (web UI). Cameras can be discovered automatically or registered manually, while individual settings are easily managed from a central location.

Secure investment with support for over 250 cameras

The DuraVision DX0211-IP supports cameras with ONVIF Profile S, Axis VAPIX and Panasonic protocols for flexible installation and guaranteed interoperability with a wide range of products. A direct connection via RTSP is also available.

4K output

The DuraVision DX0211-IP features two HDMI outputs that support 4K UHD resolution (3840 x 2160) on up to two monitors. This allows users to flexibly combine different resolutions in a viewing environment, such as a Full HD and 4K displays.

Intuitive PTZ control of cameras

PTZ settings can be adjusted directly via buttons in the respective image view of the camera instead of using separate camera settings. This intuitive user interface optimises operation and guarantees efficient monitoring.

Customisable event response with Alert-to-Action

The DX0211-IP can be integrated into security systems via a web API. The API is used to communicate and respond to alarms in the security network. An alarm from an IP camera or a VMS (video management system) to the IP decoding solution can trigger actions, such as changes to the layout, text overlays or a variety of other functionalities.

The API allows you to flexibly connect a series of notification systems from IP cameras, VMS, access control systems and other devices and applications that support alarm functionalities. EIZO works closely with security system providers and end-users to customise Alert-to-Action for each environment.

The FDF4627W-IP connects up to 16 IP cameras with a LAN cable, thereby enabling computer-free video surveillance over the network. Layout and camera options can be adjusted using the included remote control or via the user-friendly web UI. The monitor features a Web API that supports integration with the local VMS.

Connecting to surveillance cameras without a computer

The monitor is ideal for displaying your surveillance cameras efficiently. Up to 16 IP cameras can be connected directly to the monitor by means of a LAN cable. This means that the monitor can be operated without a PC. It can also be mounted on walls or ceilings thanks to a VESA attachment.

Not only does this negate the need for having to install a computer, but it also simplifies the cable routing. Only a power supply and a network connection are needed. (The adjacent image shows an example involving the FDF2304W-IP)

Data protection and viewing of camera images

Sometimes live video is required, but storage of images is not allowed. But how can one ensure that no images are recorded? The EIZO IP decoding monitors allow only for the live display of videos. Operators have no way of accessing or exporting video streams. Possible scenarios involve hospitals, prisons, public spaces, checkout counters, front desks and applications for the protection of people.

Edge recording and live video

Where a decentralized recording solution is used (such as edge recording with cloud archiving) live displaying is a challenge. Either software is needed, or streams need to be fetched from the cloud, generating additional traffic on your internet connection (2). With the EIZO IP monitor, it is possible to directly view live video from the cameras (1), completely separated from your recording solution.

Visibility Optimizer for clear images

Equipped with the Visibility Optimizer, the user achieves clear images thanks to the image enhancement technologies Low-Light Correction and Outline Enhancer. The benefit: The image enhancement takes place in the monitor and surveillance cameras can be accessed easily.

Low-Light Correction: Improved display of dark areas

Low-Light Correction automatically identifies dark and unclear areas of the image and optimises them. Dark areas are brightened up to achieve a more realistic depth effect. The visibility of surveillance cameras in difficult lighting conditions is increased. Persons or objects can therefore no longer merge into the shadows.
