APC has adapted its new Second Generation Smart-UPS Online UPS to marine applications. The 5kVA, and 6kVA 230V UPS and extended run battery pack will expand the current line of UPS type-approved by DNV-GL for bridge and deck applications.
Compliance with marine regulations, reduced emissions and enhanced environmental resilience makes them a top choice for navigation, communication, dynamic positioning, global distress, ECDIS, public announcement, ship automation and other onboard applications that require clean and secure power.
The new marine UPS, EMI filter and battery packs ship as rack mount but can be securely installed in tower configuration with the optional bolt-down vibration isolation kit, and securely protected from water ingress by the optional IP23 enclosure.
