The HPE S4A34A#ACC Instant On Switch Series 1940 provides 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3af/at Class 4 PoE, giving compatible network devices both data connectivity and power through a single Ethernet cable. Four SFP+ ports support 1GbE and 10GbE uplinks, while Layer 2+ switching, static IPv4 routing and wire-speed inter-VLAN connectivity provide flexible network management for growing business environments.
The switch provides 48 autosensing 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ-45 ports for connecting computers, wireless access points, IP phones, cameras and other Ethernet devices. The ports support 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T connectivity with automatic speed detection.
All 48 Gigabit Ethernet ports support IEEE 802.3af/at Class 4 PoE, allowing compatible devices to receive power and network connectivity over Ethernet cabling. The 370W PoE budget provides power for multiple connected PoE devices across the network.
Four SFP+ uplink ports support 1GbE and 10GbE connections, providing high-speed links to servers, storage systems, aggregation switches and other compatible network equipment. The uplinks provide additional bandwidth for traffic moving between network segments.
