Grandstream GWN7711P 8-Port L2 Lite Managed PoE Switch

The Grandstream GWN7711P is an 8-port L2 Lite managed PoE switch for small-to-medium businesses, hotels, schools and surveillance networks. It combines Gigabit connectivity, configurable traffic management and network security with PoE output for powered devices.

Four of its eight Gigabit RJ45 ports can power IP phones, cameras, wireless access points and other compatible devices. Standard PoE/PoE+ and configurable passive PoE modes provide flexible deployment, while the metal enclosure supports desktop or wall-mount installation.

Flexible PoE Output
Ports 1-4 can provide IEEE 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ output at up to 30W per port within a 60W total power budget. Smart power control dynamically allocates the available output and provides real-time monitoring and control of each PoE port.

For compatible equipment, ports 1-4 can instead be configured for passive 24V output, while port 1 also supports up to 60W in 48V four-pair passive mode. PoE output remains active during a soft restart, and PoE Watchdog can detect an unresponsive endpoint and restart its power automatically.

L2 Lite Network Management
The GWN7711P supports port-based, 802.1Q and Voice VLANs for separating network traffic. QoS, bandwidth control, IGMP snooping and link aggregation help administrators manage traffic and network performance, while configuration and monitoring are available through the local web interface, GDMS Networking or GWN Manager.

Network Monitoring and Protection
Cable testing, port mirroring, port statistics and loop detection help locate network problems. Storm control monitors broadcast, multicast and unicast traffic, while DHCP snooping, spanning tree and loop prevention help maintain a stable and secure network.
