Grandstream GWN7710R 6-Port Outdoor L2 Lite Managed PoE Switch

The Grandstream GWN7710R is an outdoor L2 Lite managed PoE switch for business and surveillance networks across campuses, parks and other exposed locations. Its IP66-rated metal enclosure protects against dust and adverse weather, while the -40°C to 60°C operating range suits demanding deployments.

Five Gigabit RJ45 ports provide four configurable PoE outputs and one PoE input. A separate 1G/2.5G SFP port supports a compatible fibre transceiver for links to other network infrastructure.

Flexible PoE Input and Output
The GWN7710R can receive power through its PoE input port or a suitable external 12-57V DC source. IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at and 802.3bt inputs provide PoE output budgets of 3W, 15W and 60W respectively; DC input can provide up to 60W, 72W or 100W according to voltage.

In default standard PoE mode, ports 1-4 can each provide up to 30W to compatible IEEE 802.3af/at devices. Configurable 24V or 48V passive output supports compatible equipment, including up to 60W from port 1 in four-pair 48V mode. PoE Watchdog can detect an unresponsive device and restart its power automatically.

L2 Lite Network Management
The GWN7710R supports port-based, 802.1Q and Voice VLANs to separate network traffic, together with QoS, bandwidth control, IGMP snooping, link aggregation, storm control, DHCP snooping, spanning tree and loop prevention. It can be configured and monitored through the local web interface, the GDMS Networking cloud platform or the on-premise GWN Manager platform.
