To complement the extensive range of single piece modules, the range has been expanded with the introduction of the keystone jack. Ideal for the user with a preference for a jack and shutter install these independentley verifed outlets offer exceptional performance and fast reliable installation with either LSA or 110 style tooling. A choice of colours are offered to suit the required housing, White jacks for the shutter, and Black for the patch frame. The patch panel frame offers great flexibility either through part loading to suit the installations and manage cost, or for preterminated requirements, allowing terminated jacks to be snapped into place quickly and easily.

Excel Cat5e UTP Unscreened Keystone Jack Toolless, available as part of our range of excel Cat5e keystone jacks for RJ45 network connections. Excel toolless jack is one of the simplest methods of providing a high level of repeatable quality of fast termination. Suitable for both traditional and pre-terminated installations, each jack has a standard RJ45 keystone jack footprint and is suitable for mounting in the Excel shutters, faceplates and patch panel frames detailed in this catalogue.
Termination is a quick and simple two stage process, prepare and position the pairs from each cable within the colour coded termination cap, once in place the termination cap is snapped onto the IDC block providing a high quality termination first time, every time without the need for separate tooling.

The low profile design allows this jack to fit in the Excel 0.5U 24 Port Patch Panel resulting in a maximum port density of 48 per 1U. The socket itself is housed in a high quality fire retardant plastic cast housing, which opens at the rear in a butterfly manner to reveal the IDC termination points. Once the pairs are arranged in the cable management cap and trimmed it is a simple case of closing the butterfly together to complete the termination.
