The Teltonika TAP200 is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 access point that provides wireless connectivity across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands through a single Gigabit Ethernet port with PoE input. It supports Wave 2 802.11b/g/n/ac technology, MU-MIMO and wireless speeds of up to 867 Mbps, while its integrated mounting bracket and compact housing make it suitable for ceiling-mounted indoor installations.
The Wave 2 Wi-Fi 5 using IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac across both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. Dual-band operation provides flexibility for connecting compatible wireless devices, with combined wireless data rates of up to 867 Mbps and MU-MIMO support.
A single RJ45 port provides 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connectivity and supports IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u and IEEE 802.3az standards. The Ethernet interface also accepts power through 802.3af PoE Class 1, with an input voltage range of 44.0 - 57.0 V, allowing network connectivity and power to be supplied through the same cable.
Four internal omnidirectional antennas provide wireless coverage across both frequency bands, with two antennas dedicated to 2.4 GHz and two for 5 GHz. Wireless mesh using 802.11s, fast roaming using 802.11r, BSS transition management using 802.11v and radio resource measurement using 802.11k support multi-access-point wireless deployments.
The access point supports WPA2 and WPA3 security options, including WPA2-Enterprise, WPA2-PSK, WPA-EAP, WPA-PSK, WPA3-SAE, WPA3-EAP and OWE. AES-CCMP, TKIP, client separation, EAP-TLS with PKCS#12 certificates and 802.11w Protected Management Frames provide additional wireless security features.
The IPv4 and IPv6 networking together with TCP, UDP, ICMP, HTTP, HTTPS, TLS, ARP and SSH protocols. Hotspot 2.0 provides automatic connection capabilities for supported trusted networks, while DNS over HTTPS can be used to protect DNS queries. A wireless QR code generator can also simplify network access for compatible users.
RutOS provides a WebUI for configuration, firmware updates, monitoring and troubleshooting. The TAP200 also supports SSH, SNMP, JSON-RPC and FOTA, while Teltonika RMS enables remote monitoring and management. Up to 100 simultaneous Wi-Fi connections are supported.
The UV-stabilised plastic housing measuring 158 mm in diameter and 30 mm in height, with a weight of 190 g.
