The Teltonika RUTM50 is a 5G cellular router that provides ultra-high mobile data speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps using 5G Sub-6 GHz connectivity. It supports both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks, while 4G LTE Cat 19/18 compatibility provides continued connectivity when 5G is unavailable. Dual SIM support with automatic switching, Gigabit Ethernet ports and dual-band Wi-Fi 5 give the router multiple options for connecting users, equipment and network infrastructure.
The RUTM50 supports 5G Sub-6 GHz connectivity with theoretical download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps using 4x4 MIMO. It supports both standalone and non-standalone 5G networks, providing flexibility across different 5G network deployments.
When a 5G network is unavailable, the router can use 4G LTE connectivity with Cat 19 download speeds of up to 1.6 Gbps and Cat 18 upload speeds of up to 200 Mbps. This provides a cellular fallback option for locations where 5G coverage varies.
Two SIM card slots provide access to separate mobile subscriptions, with automatic switching available for conditions including weak signal, data limits, roaming, network denial and failed data connections. SIM idle protection can also keep the secondary SIM inactive until it is required.
One Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports provide wired connections for network equipment, while dual-band Wi-Fi 5 supports wireless transmission rates of up to 867 Mbps. MU-MIMO, wireless mesh and fast roaming features provide additional wireless networking options.
The router supports automatic WAN backup and failover between available connection types, helping maintain network access when a primary connection becomes unavailable. Teltonika RMS compatibility provides options for remote monitoring, configuration and management of connected devices.
RutOS provides routing, firewall, VPN, VLAN, DHCP, QoS and connection monitoring functions. The router also supports industrial and IoT-related protocols including Modbus, MQTT and OPC UA, providing connectivity options for a range of networked equipment and applications.
