The Teltonika RUTX12 is a dual LTE Cat 6 cellular router with two simultaneously operational 4G modems, supporting combined cellular speeds of up to 600 Mbps. It provides dual SIM connectivity, five Gigabit Ethernet ports, dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy, GNSS and a USB host interface.

Dual LTE Cat 6 Connectivity

The router incorporates two LTE Cat 6 cellular modems that can operate simultaneously, providing combined cellular throughput of up to 600 Mbps. Each modem supports carrier aggregation, while the dual-modem arrangement allows traffic to be distributed across both cellular connections.

Dual SIM and Failover

Two external SIM slots provide access to separate mobile subscriptions. Automatic SIM switching and network failover can maintain connectivity when a cellular connection becomes unavailable, while load balancing can distribute traffic across available WAN connections.

Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi

Five RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports provide wired networking, with one port configurable as WAN or LAN and four ports allocated for LAN connectivity. Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi supports Access Point and Station modes across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands.

Routing and Network Management

RutOS provides static and dynamic routing, routing rules, VLAN, QoS, DHCP, firewall functions and network failover. Supported management interfaces include the web user interface, CLI, SSH, SNMP, MQTT, JSON-RPC, TR-069, MODBUS and Teltonika Networks Remote Management System.

VPN and Security

The router supports multiple VPN and tunnelling technologies, including OpenVPN, IPsec, WireGuard, L2TP, PPTP, GRE and Stunnel. Additional network security functions include firewall rules, NAT, port forwarding, access control and authentication features.

Industrial Interfaces and Housing

The router includes a USB host port, digital input and digital open collector output, GNSS and Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity. It uses an aluminium housing with an optional DIN rail mounting arrangement and supports a 9-50 VDC power input. The operating temperature range is -40°C to +75°C.
