The Teltonika TSW040 is an unmanaged 8-port PoE+ Ethernet switch that combines 10/100 Mbps wired connectivity with power delivery for compatible network equipment. All eight RJ45 ports support PoE-out, providing up to 30 W per port and a total PoE power budget of 240 W. A 2-pin industrial DC power input supports a 7-57 VDC supply range, while PoE output requires 44-57 VDC. Its integrated DIN rail bracket, compact anodised aluminium housing and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for industrial cabinets, automation systems, smart lighting and other installations requiring both network connectivity and device power.
The switch provides eight RJ45 Ethernet ports supporting 10/100 Mbps connections, with every port capable of delivering PoE-out. IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at compliant PSE ports use spare pairs in Mode B to provide both network connectivity and power over compatible Ethernet cabling.
Each PoE port can provide up to 30 W at the power sourcing equipment, giving the switch a total PoE power budget of 240 W. This allows multiple compatible devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, lighting equipment and other PoE network devices to receive power directly through their Ethernet connections.
A 2-pin industrial DC power socket accepts a 7-57 VDC input, while the PoE-out input voltage range is 44–57 VDC. The power input incorporates overvoltage, reverse-polarity and surge protection to help protect the switch during industrial installation.
The unmanaged switch provides 20 Gbps of non-blocking bandwidth, a 128 KB packet buffer and a 2K-entry MAC address table. Support for jumbo frames up to 9216 bytes provides additional flexibility for Ethernet traffic involving larger data frames, while auto MDI/MDIX crossover simplifies network connections.
