The Grandstream F-MM850-300M-10G is a hot-pluggable 10Gbps SFP+ transceiver module that fits into a compatible SFP+ port, most commonly on a network switch. It enables switches and other compatible network equipment to send and receive high-speed data over multimode fibre, providing a 10 Gigabit Ethernet optical connection using an 850nm wavelength and duplex LC connectors over distances of up to 300m.
Integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) allows compatible network equipment to monitor operating information from the module. Low electromagnetic interference, ESD protection and maximum power consumption of 1W help support reliable and efficient network operation.
This fibre module is suitable for businesses, IT departments, network installers, managed service providers and data-centre operators creating or upgrading high-speed optical links. Typical uses include switch uplinks, server-room connections and links between compatible network devices across offices, campuses and enterprise LAN environments.
