The Grandstream F-SM1310-10KM-10G is a hot-pluggable 10Gbps SFP+ transceiver module that fits into a compatible SFP+ port, most commonly on a network switch. It enables switches and other compatible network equipment to send and receive high-speed data over single-mode fibre, providing a 10 Gigabit Ethernet optical connection using a 1310nm wavelength and duplex LC connectors over distances of up to 10km.
Integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) allows compatible network equipment to monitor operating information from the module. Low electromagnetic interference, ESD protection and maximum power consumption of 1W help support reliable and efficient network operation.
This fibre module is suitable for businesses, IT departments, network installers, managed service providers and data-centre operators creating or upgrading longer-distance optical links. Typical uses include switch uplinks, connections between buildings and links across business campuses, data centres and other distributed network environments.
