The HEX150CS-KIT is part of the Platinum Range of HDBaseT™ solutions, delivering high-bandwidth HDMI 2.0 signal extension with maximum reach and flexibility. Designed for advanced AV installations, it combines full 18Gbps 4K performance with Colour Space Conversion (CSC) and intelligent video down-conversion to support mixed-resolution display environments without compromising source quality.
Engineered for demanding professional environments, the HEX150CS-KIT utilises advanced HDBaseT™ technology to distribute high-resolution video, audio, control signals, Ethernet, and power over a single CAT cable. This ensures reliable long-distance transmission while reducing system complexity.
Advanced CSC processing supports the full HDMI 2.0 18Gbps specification, including HDR formats. Integrated video down-conversion allows displays limited to 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 or 1080p to receive compatible signals, while other outputs continue to deliver maximum native 4K UHD resolution.
The HEX150CS-KIT supports 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 UHD video transmission up to 100 metres and extends 1080p signals up to 150 metres using HDBaseT™ long-reach mode. This makes it suitable for large-scale installations where distance and signal integrity are critical.
An integrated HDMI loop-out on the transmitter enables local display monitoring or signal cascading to additional devices. HDMI re-clocking on the receiver enhances signal stability and helps resolve HDCP, compatibility, and handshaking challenges in complex systems.
The extender set supports Audio Return Channel (ARC) from the display via HDMI or optical digital inputs. Audio can be routed back to HDMI, optical digital, or analogue L/R outputs, providing flexible audio integration options for a wide range of system designs.
Bi-directional 10/100BaseT Ethernet pass-through enables network connectivity between transmitter and receiver locations. Bi-directional IR and RS-232 pass-through provide full device control, while advanced EDID management ensures optimal communication between sources and displays.
Bi-directional PoC allows the extender units to be powered from either the transmitter or receiver end, simplifying power requirements during installation. HDCP 2.2 support ensures secure transmission of protected 4K content across the system.
