The C88CS supports HDMI 2.0 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 video with HDCP 2.2 compliance, ensuring compatibility with current UHD sources and displays. Integrated Colour Space Conversion enables full 18Gbps signal transmission while preserving image quality across extended cable runs.
Output 1 provides simultaneous HDMI and HDBaseT™ connectivity, supporting both local and remote display requirements. Video down-conversion on HDBaseT™ outputs allows mixed-resolution systems, enabling lower-resolution displays to operate alongside full 4K UHD outputs without compromising overall system performance.
The matrix delivers 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 UHD video up to 40 metres and extends 1080p video signals up to 70 metres over a single CAT cable. Support for industry-standard resolutions from VGA to WUXGA and up to 4K ensures compatibility across a wide range of AV environments.
Bitstream passthrough of multichannel surround sound, including object-based audio formats, is supported in line with HDMI specifications. Comprehensive control options include front panel operation, bi-directional IR, RS-232, and TCP/IP for seamless system integration.
Power over Cable (PoC) enables compatible HDBaseT™ receivers to be powered directly from the matrix, reducing installation complexity. The 1U chassis supports 19-inch rack mounting with the supplied mounting kit, while advanced EDID management and third-party control drivers ensure stable and flexible system operation.
