The CE UACC-AOC-SFP10-5M Ubiquiti Compatible Active Optical Cable provides a 5m optical connection between SFP+ interfaces for high-speed network links. Using OM3 multimode fibre and an 850nm wavelength, it supports data rates of up to 10Gbps while also supporting 1Gbps connections.
The active optical cable supports 10Gbps network connections between compatible SFP+ ports. Its 850nm optical transmission and OM3 multimode fibre provide a practical connection for short-range equipment interconnects.
SFP+ connectors are integrated at both ends of the cable, allowing direct connection between compatible switches, routers, servers and other networking equipment with SFP+ ports. The cable also supports 1Gbps operation where supported by the connected equipment.
The cable uses OM3 multimode optical fibre within a 3.0mm PVC jacket. It operates across a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, making it suitable for standard networking environments.
