The Teltonika RUTM59 is a cellular 5G router that provides high-speed mobile connectivity using 5G Sub-6 GHz technology with support for both SA and NSA modes. It supports download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps and includes two SIM card slots with automatic switching for scenarios such as weak signal, data limits, roaming, network failure and connection loss.
The 5G Sub-6 GHz mobile connectivity using both Standalone and Non-Standalone network modes. Its 5G modem can provide download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps with 4x4 MIMO, while 4G LTE Cat 19 support provides a fallback connection with download speeds of up to 1.6 Gbps.
Two SIM card slots allow the router to use separate mobile subscriptions and switch between them when required. Automatic switching can be triggered by conditions including weak signal, data limits, SMS limits, roaming, lack of network availability, network denial and failed data connections. SIM idle protection also helps prevent unnecessary data usage on the inactive card.
The router provides five Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports, consisting of one WAN port and four LAN ports. The Ethernet interfaces support 10/100/1000 Mbps operation and include automatic MDI/MDIX crossover support. WAN failover can be configured to provide an alternative connection when the primary network becomes unavailable.
RutOS provides access to network configuration, monitoring and management functions through the WebUI and command-line interfaces. The router supports features such as bridge and passthrough modes, multiple PDNs, band management, APN configuration, IPv4 and IPv6 connectivity and VPN services.
The RUTM59 supports Teltonika RMS for remote device management and monitoring. It also provides interfaces and services for IoT deployments, including MQTT, SNMP, JSON-RPC and integrations with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, ThingWorx and Cumulocity.
Alongside its Ethernet and dual-SIM interfaces, the router includes a USB Type-A port for external devices and digital input and output interfaces. Its housing measures 132 x 44.2 x 103.5 mm, providing a compact format for network installations where cellular connectivity and multiple wired interfaces are required.
