The Microchip PD-9001-10GC/AC-UK is a single-port indoor PoE midspan designed to add up to 30W of Power over Ethernet to high-speed network connections. It supports data rates from 10/100/1000Mbps through to 2.5Gbps, 5Gbps and 10Gbps, making it suitable for high-bandwidth devices such as wireless access points, Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras and video phones.

IEEE 802.3at compliant and backwards compatible with IEEE 802.3af powered devices, the PD-9001-10GC provides a straightforward way to add PoE to an existing Ethernet connection without replacing the network switch.
