The Lindy USB 3.0 active extension cable uses built-in active electronics to extend the cable length of a USB 3.0 device whilst continuing to support data transfer rates of up to 5Gbps. With its USB A male and USB A female connector it allows Type A devices such as storage devices, webcams and other Type A devices to be connected at longer distances to PCs, laptops and tablets, while also ensuring flexible positioning.
Up to 5 of these USB 3.0 Active Extensions Slim can be chained together. In addition, a maximum of 5 of the different cable lengths of these USB 3.0 Active Extensions Slim can be combined with each other. The only exception is the 15m version No. 43404: as it has 2 chipsets, a maximum of 3 other USB 3.0 Active Extensions Slim can be combined with it.
The Lindy USB 3.0 Active Extension Slim is supplied with power via the USB bus, but also has a DC socket for connecting a power supply unit for devices with high power requirements or if you want to connect several cables in series.
