Blustream UEX3H USB 3.2 Gen1 HDBaseT™ Extender - Host

The Blustream UEX3H is a USB 3.2 Gen1 HDBaseT™ Host extender that allows USB devices to be connected over long distances using a single CAT cable. It provides high-speed data transfer and flexible power delivery while supporting multiple host and local USB connections. The UEX3H allows 2 x USB Hosts to be switched between the 2 x local USB Devices as well as the Devices connected to a remote compatible Blustream USB HDBaseT™ Transmitter (Device) extender with support for a combined transmission data bandwidth of up to 5Gbps.

The UEX3H is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices, and utilises bi-directional Power over Cable (PoC) to power from either end of the HDBaseT™ link. The UEX3H supports both auto or manual Host selection, which can be controlled via the front panel button, or RS-232 from 3rd party control solutions.

* Signal distribution bandwidth and distance are subject to length of device and host USB cables, and CAT cable type. It is recommended to use a minimum of CAT6A cabling.

USB Connectivity

The UEX3H supports simultaneous connection of host and local USB devices, allowing peripherals such as cameras, storage drives, and control devices to operate seamlessly across extended distances without compromising speed or responsiveness.

Power and Control

Bi-directional Power over Cable allows flexible power delivery from either the host or device end. RS-232 integration ensures control systems can communicate effectively with connected USB devices over the same HDBaseT™ link.
