The HEX70ARC-KIT is a feature-rich HDBaseT™ ARC extender set designed for custom installation environments requiring reliable HDMI extension with integrated audio return functionality. Supporting both HDMI ARC and optical audio return, it provides a streamlined solution for high-quality video distribution and flexible audio routing over extended distances.
Using advanced HDBaseT™ technology, the HEX70ARC-KIT delivers uncompressed HDMI video and audio with zero latency over a single CAT cable. This ensures stable performance and consistent signal quality across custom installation environments.
The extender set supports 4K UHD video transmission up to 40 metres, including 3840 x 2160 @30Hz 4:4:4, 4096 x 2160 @24Hz 4:4:4, and 4K @60Hz 4:2:0 formats. Full HD 1080p signals can be extended up to 70 metres.
Audio Return Channel (ARC) is supported from the connected display via HDMI ARC or optical digital input. This enables audio from built-in display apps or connected sources to be returned to the system audio device using a single cable infrastructure.
An HDMI loop-out on the HEX70ARC-TX allows integration of a local display or cascading to additional devices. This provides added flexibility when designing multi-display or distributed AV systems.
The system supports bitstream passthrough of multichannel surround sound, including object-based audio formats, in line with HDMI specifications. This ensures compatibility with modern audio formats used in home cinema and professional AV installations.
Bi-directional IR pass-through allows remote control of connected devices from either end of the system. Bi-directional PoC enables the extender units to be powered from the transmitter or receiver, reducing the need for local power supplies.
