The HEX100HDVGA-KIT is a versatile HDBaseT™ extender set engineered for environments that require both digital and analogue video distribution. Featuring switchable HDMI and VGA inputs, it provides a flexible solution for legacy and modern source devices while delivering dependable long-distance signal transmission over a single CAT cable.
Designed for mixed-technology environments, the HEX100HDVGA-KIT supports both HDMI and VGA with audio inputs. Auto signal sensing prioritises the last connected source, while manual switching is available using a front-panel toggle button or RS-232 control from either end of the system.
The extender set supports 4K UHD video transmission up to 70 metres, including 3840 x 2160 @30Hz 4:4:4, 4096 x 2160 @24Hz 4:4:4, and 4K @60Hz 4:2:0 formats. It also accommodates industry standard video resolutions from 480i through to 4K, along with a wide range of VGA resolutions.
Using advanced HDBaseT™ technology, the HEX100HDVGA-KIT distributes video, audio, control signals, and power over a single CAT cable up to 100 metres. This reduces installation complexity while maintaining consistent signal quality across extended distances.
The system supports bitstream passthrough of multichannel surround sound, including object-based audio formats in line with HDMI specifications. Bi-directional IR and RS-232 pass-through enable seamless control of connected devices from any input or output location.
