The DA1414 is a PoE+ powered 14 x 14 audio matrix engineered for flexible, high-performance audio distribution across multi-zone environments. Designed to handle mixed digital and analogue sources, it delivers precise routing, processing, and control while maintaining a compact 1U rack-mount form factor suitable for both commercial and residential installations.
The DA1414 supports full 14 x 14 matrix routing, enabling independent distribution of mono audio signals across Dante/AES67, balanced or unbalanced analogue, and USB audio domains. Each input can be routed freely to any output, providing granular control for complex multi-zone audio systems.
Each input and output channel includes comprehensive processing tools such as volume control, balance adjustment, and an 8-band parametric equaliser. High and low shelf filters, along with high and low pass filtering, allow precise tonal shaping at both the source and destination stages.
The unit is equipped with 8 Dante/AES67 inputs, 4 balanced or unbalanced analogue inputs, and 2 USB audio inputs. Outputs mirror this flexibility with 8 Dante/AES67, 4 analogue, and 2 USB audio channels, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of system designs.
Analogue inputs support both microphone and line-level signals, with selectable 48V phantom power at 0.5mA. This enables direct connection of condenser microphones or line-level sources without additional external hardware.
Selectable USB-C and USB Type-B connections provide versatile USB audio interfacing. USB Audio Class 2.0 support ensures reliable, high-quality digital audio connectivity for computers and compatible devices.
The DA1414 supports Dante and AES67 RTP audio transport, with configurable device latency options ranging from 2ms to 10ms via Dante Controller. Dual Dante LAN ports provide network redundancy for improved reliability in critical audio systems.
Integrated API switching allows Dante channel routing through third-party control platforms, bypassing the need for standard Dante Controller or Domain Manager workflows. This enables tighter integration with broader control ecosystems.
The unit can be powered via PoE+ (Class 4 IEEE 802.3at) through the primary LAN connection or via a local power supply where PoE is unavailable. Control is available through the front panel, RS-232, TCP/IP, and a web-based GUI for flexible system management.
Housed in a 1U chassis designed for standard 19-inch racks, the DA1414 integrates cleanly into professional AV installations. A rack mounting kit is included, simplifying deployment within structured equipment racks.
