The C66CS Contractor 6x6 HDBaseT™ CSC Matrix is engineered to deliver high-performance 4K UHD signal distribution with flexibility and reliability for professional AV installations. Designed for the custom installation market, this matrix combines advanced HDBaseT™ technology with Colour Space Conversion to support modern HDMI 2.0 workflows while maintaining long-distance signal integrity over a single CAT cable.
The C66CS supports HDMI 2.0 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 video with HDCP 2.2 compliance, ensuring compatibility with modern UHD sources and displays. Advanced Colour Space Conversion enables full 18Gbps bandwidth transmission while maintaining signal quality across extended distances.
Output 1 features simultaneous HDMI and HDBaseT™ connectivity, allowing local and remote display support from a single output. Integrated video down-conversion on HDBaseT™ outputs enables mixed-resolution systems, ensuring legacy displays can receive compatible signals while other outputs maintain full 4K UHD resolution.
The matrix delivers 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 video up to 40m and extends 1080p signals up to 70m over a single CAT cable. Support for resolutions from VGA through WUXGA and up to 4K ensures broad compatibility across diverse AV environments.
Bitstream passthrough of multichannel surround sound, including object-based audio formats, is supported in line with HDMI specifications. Control options include front panel operation, bi-directional IR, RS-232, and TCP/IP, providing flexibility for system integration.
Power over Cable (PoC) allows compatible HDBaseT™ receivers to be powered directly from the matrix, reducing the need for local power supplies. The 1U chassis design supports 19-inch rack mounting, with mounting hardware included for streamlined installation.
Advanced EDID management ensures stable source-to-display communication, while third-party drivers enable integration with major control systems. For full 18Gbps CSC performance, the RX70CS receiver is recommended.
