The RF-1.6 & RF-1.9 Intelligent (Expansion) 1U Rackmount Fan Trays are designed to extend high-capacity airflow within an Intelligent Master IP Fan system. Featuring six or nine integrated fans with a combined airflow of 648 CFM or 972 CFM* it supports scalable rack cooling while maintaining centralized monitoring and control through the master unit.
RF-1.6 & RF-1.9 are intelligent expansion rackmount fan trays with 6 or 9 funs. Hot air is extracted when mounted at the top, rack equipment is cooled when mounted in the middle or cool air is drawn into rack when mounted at the bottom.

With nine fans rated at 108 CFM each, the RF-1.6/RF-1.9 delivers increased airflow to support high-density rack configurations. It is suited for environments where additional cooling capacity is required beyond the master fan tray.
Intelligent Expansion Architecture
The RF-1.6/RF-1.9 operates as part of the Intelligent (Expansion) series, connecting to a Master IP Fan tray to extend centralized control and monitoring without adding network complexity or additional IP addresses.
Cascade-Ready Scalability
Up to 16 fan trays can be daisy-chained using cascade ports, allowing multiple expansion units to operate as a unified cooling system under a single management interface.
Temperature Monitoring and Control
Support for local and remote temperature monitoring enables real-time visibility of rack conditions. Fan speeds can be configured to adjust automatically based on temperature thresholds or controlled manually as required.
Flexible Management Interfaces
When connected to a Master unit, the RF-1.6/RF-1.9 can be managed through front panel controls for on-site access or remotely via web-based GUI, SNMP, and IP management software.
Designed for Long-Term Reliability
Engineered for continuous operation, the RF-1.6/RF-1.9 features an MTBF rating of 50,000 hours. Compliance with CE, FCC, REACH, and RoHS3 standards ensures compatibility with global data center requirements.
