The Austin Hughes MRF-1.6 / MRF-1.9 InfraCool Intelligent (Master) 1U Fan Tray is a high-density rack cooling solution engineered for environments requiring increased airflow and centralized management. With 6 or 9 integrated fans delivering a combined airflow of 648 CFM / 972 CFM, it is designed to support intensive thermal loads while maintaining precise control at both local and remote levels.
It supports flexible mounting positions to extract hot air or introduce cool air and provide targeted equipment cooling where required.
Intelligent Master Fan Architecture
As part of the Intelligent (Master) series, the MRF-1.6 / MRF-1.9 allows multiple fan trays to be daisy-chained and managed through a single IP address. This architecture simplifies deployment and provides scalable airflow management across multiple rack levels.
Intelligent Cascade Architecture
Up to 16 fan units can be daisy-chained and accessed through a single IP address. Multiple cascade groups can be managed centrally, enabling large-scale deployments without increasing network complexity.
Advanced Temperature Monitoring
The system supports both local and remote temperature monitoring, enabling real-time awareness of rack conditions. Fan speeds can be configured to adjust automatically based on temperature thresholds, ensuring balanced cooling and efficient operation, while minimizing unnecessary energy consumption.
Local and Remote Management
The front panel LED indicators and control buttons provide real-time local monitoring and fan control. Remote access is available through a web-based GUI, SNMP, or dedicated IP management software, allowing full visibility and control from anywhere.
Comprehensive Control Interfaces
Administrators can manage the fan tray using front panel controls for on-site adjustments or through web-based GUI, SNMP, and remote IP software for centralized oversight. This flexibility supports both hands-on and remote operational models.
