The Teltonika DAP142 is an industrial wireless access point that combines Wi-Fi 4 connectivity with RS232 serial communication for industrial equipment and networked applications. It provides two 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet ports, passive PoE support and a 3-pin power connector, while Wi-Fi Mesh and Fast Roaming help maintain wireless connectivity across larger installations.
Wi-Fi 4 provides wireless networking for industrial equipment, automation systems and connected devices. The access point supports up to 50 simultaneous connections and provides wireless networking across the 2.4 GHz band.
The integrated RS232 interface gives the DAP142 an additional connection method for industrial equipment and legacy devices. Its serial functions include Console, Serial over IP, Modem, MODBUS gateway and NTRIP Client support.
Wi-Fi Mesh allows multiple compatible access points to work together across larger areas, while Fast Roaming helps wireless clients move between access points with reduced interruption. These features make the DAP142 suitable for industrial locations where consistent wireless access is required.
Two 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet ports provide wired network connectivity, with LAN2 supporting passive PoE over spare pairs. The passive PoE input accepts 9-30 VDC and is not compatible with IEEE 802.3af, 802.3at or 802.3bt standards.
The aluminium housing and integrated DIN rail bracket make the DAP142 suitable for installation within industrial network cabinets and equipment areas. Its operating temperature range of -40 °C to 75 °C supports deployment in demanding industrial environments.
