The CE AXC765 Netgear Compatible Direct Attach Copper Cable provides 10Gbps connectivity between compatible networking equipment using SFP+ interfaces. The 5m passive Twinax cable uses SFP+ connectors at both ends and supports 10GBase-CU connections for short-distance network links between switches, servers and storage equipment.
The cable provides a direct SFP+ to SFP+ connection for 10 Gigabit Ethernet networking. Its copper Twinax construction provides a short-distance interconnect between compatible switches, servers, storage systems and other networking equipment.
The passive copper cable assembly uses SFP+ connectors on both ends and a 5m Twinax cable. The compatible AXC765 specification identifies 24 AWG copper wiring and a 100 Ohm cable impedance for the direct attach connection.
