The DA44AU is a four input / four output Dante® digital audio converter designed to integrate analogue audio equipment seamlessly into a Dante® network. It enables reliable conversion between analogue and Dante® audio signals, making it suitable for a wide range of professional AV and audio distribution environments.
The DA44AU allows non-Dante® audio sources such as mixing consoles, amplifiers, computers, and compatible AV distribution equipment to be introduced into a Dante® network. Analogue signals are converted with precision to ensure stable and consistent digital audio transport.
In addition to analogue-to-network conversion, the DA44AU converts Dante® audio streams back into analogue outputs. This enables Dante® audio to be distributed to amplifiers, speakers, or other analogue audio devices without additional processing equipment.
Each analogue input supports both balanced and unbalanced audio signals, as well as microphone-level inputs. Integrated phantom power support allows condenser microphones to be connected directly, reducing the need for external preamp equipment.
With support for multiple sample rates up to 96kHz at 24-bit, the DA44AU delivers clear and accurate audio reproduction. Independent gain adjustment on each input channel allows precise signal control to suit varying source levels.
The DA44AU supports configurable Dante® device latency to suit different network conditions and system requirements. Compatibility with AES67 RTP audio transport ensures interoperability with other compliant audio-over-IP systems.
