The DA22DIG is a compact Dante® audio interface designed to bridge analogue and digital audio sources with Dante® networks. It provides reliable two-channel encoding and decoding, supporting professional audio distribution in AV, broadcast, and networked audio environments where flexibility and clean signal transport are essential.
The DA22DIG can encode either two-channel analogue audio or digital audio sources directly onto a Dante® network. Input source selection is handled via DIP-switch configuration, allowing quick adaptation to different installation requirements without software dependency.
Incoming Dante® audio streams can be decoded to both analogue and digital audio outputs simultaneously. This enables seamless integration with existing audio equipment while maintaining a clean digital signal path across the network.
The unit supports both optical TOSLINK and coaxial RCA digital audio inputs. Selection between formats is hardware-based, ensuring stable operation and compatibility with a wide range of digital source devices.
A configurable microphone input is included, providing 48V phantom power for condenser microphones. This allows the DA22DIG to be deployed in voice reinforcement, paging, or conferencing applications without external mic preamps.
Independent sensitivity adjustment for each input channel and dedicated gain control for outputs allow precise audio level management. This ensures optimal signal integrity across varying source and destination devices.
In addition to native Dante® operation, the DA22DIG supports AES67 RTP audio transport. This expands interoperability with other networked audio systems and standards-based audio infrastructure.
The device supports Class 3 IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet, allowing power and data to be delivered over a single network cable. For environments without PoE-enabled switches, a 12V DC power input is also available.
