AirGuard Air-Quiff Circular 209mm Brushed Grommet

Based on the popular DCGT085 grommet, the DCGTA85 Air-Quiff forms a tight air seal around cables. The DCGTA85 shares the same outer housing as the popular DCGT085 grommet. Therefore if cable density requirements increase for the DCGT085 it is possible to retrofit the unit with the DCGTA85 brush and top flange. The DCGTA85 can also be supplied with a safety lid for installation prior to cabling

The unit comprises of 3 parts:

1. Outer Ring Housing with quick locking clamping arms (no additional drilling once the opening is formed)
2. Brush Ring Insert - Cables can be installed through the grommet without the brush in place. Once cabling is completed the dense brush ring can be opened to encase the cables. The ring is then fitted into the Outer Housing
3. Top Flange - The two semi circle flanges fasten together to form an attractive top flange which conceals the rim of the brush ring and fits into and over the support flange of the outer housing

As the bristles are concentrated towards the centre of the grommet they form a dense brush seal which encapsulates cables forming a practical air seal.

The opening is large enough to facilitate almost all cabling requirements.

• The DCGTA85 is based on the popular DCGT085 209mm cut out diameter grommet
• The lid is replaced with a circular brush insert and a 2 part protective top section
• The grommet can be installed and locked into position using the 2 fixing clamps. Cables can be easily brought through the brush-less grommet opening and then the brush is then installed and the protective top section fitted into position
• The circular brush creates a dense central brush zone which forms an excellent air barrier almost regardless of the number and size of the cables passing through the grommet
• The overall grommet is 233mm in diameter and 45mm deep
• Polycarbonate or ABS-KJW Flame retardant plastic
