The TP-Link SG3452XMPP Omada Managed Switch is designed to meet the demands of modern high-density networks, offering 48 Gigabit ports and 4 × 10G SFP+ uplinks for fast, reliable connections. With a large PoE budget and advanced Layer 2+ features, it allows flexible deployment of wireless access points, IP cameras, and other powered devices, while centralised management through the Omada platform simplifies monitoring and configuration across multiple locations.
Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform integrates network devices, including access points, switches and gateways, providing 100% centralized cloud management. Omada creates a highly scalable network——all controlled from a single interface. Seamless wireless and wired connections are provided, ideal for use in hospitality, education, retail, offices, and more.
The TP-Link Omada L2+ managed switches provide IP-MAC-Port Binding, Port Security, Storm Control, and DHCP Snooping to protect against broadcast storms, ARP attacks, and other threats. Built-in protection for common DoS attacks makes network defense easier than ever. Access Control Lists (ACL, L2 to L4) restrict access to sensitive resources by filtering packets based on source/destination MAC addresses, IP addresses, TCP/UDP ports, or VLAN ID. The switch also supports 802.1X authentication with RADIUS/TACACS+ servers, requiring valid credentials before network access is granted.
Quality of Service features prioritize voice, data, and video traffic using IP or MAC addresses, TCP/UDP ports, and other criteria to ensure smooth, jitter-free performance. When combined with Voice VLAN support, the switch ensures voice applications operate with clearer and more reliable performance.
These managed switches support a complete set of L2 functions, including 802.1Q VLAN, Port Mirroring, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Link Aggregation Control Protocol, and 802.3x Flow Control. Advanced features for network maintenance include Loopback Detection, Cable Diagnostics, and IGMP Snooping. IGMP Snooping ensures multicast streams are forwarded only to intended subscribers, while IGMP throttling and filtering restrict access at the port level. Static routing provides network segmentation and efficient internal traffic routing.
The switches support ISP-focused features such as 802.3ah OAM, Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM), sFlow, QinQ, L2PT PPPoE ID Insertion, and IGMP authentication. 802.3ah OAM and DLDP enable efficient monitoring and troubleshooting of Ethernet networks. DDM allows monitoring and configuration of SFP modules, including alarm, warning, temperature, voltage, bias current, TX power, and RX power thresholds.
Omada L2+ managed switches provide user-friendly management via web-based GUI, Command Line Interface (CLI), SNMP (v1/v2c/v3), and RMON, offering status updates and alerts for network events. Dual Image and Dual Configuration support improves reliability and network uptime.
The switches support IPv6 features including Dual IPv4/IPv6 Stack, MLD Snooping, IPv6 ACL, DHCPv6 Snooping, IPv6 Interface, Path MTU Discovery, and IPv6 Neighbor Discovery, ensuring readiness for next-generation networks without hardware upgrades.
